Indian Air Force (IAF)'s Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria has embarked on a four-day trip to Bangladesh following his counterpart Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat's visit to India earlier this month, reports Livemint.
Serniabat had visited India to represent Bangladesh as the Chiefs' of Air Staff Conclave 21 at Yelahanka, Bengaluru based Air Force Station. During his visit, he led the Bangladeshi delegation at the Aero India 2021.
On his visit to Bangladesh, Bhadauria is scheduled to interact with senior dignitaries and visit key operational bases of the Bangladesh Air Force. He will also be engaging in the discussions on the progress made in the areas of shared interests and explore avenues to further mutual military cooperation. The visit will also enhance extant professional ties and bonds of friendship between the two forces.
The visit by Bhadauria comes at a time when the armed forces of the two nations are celebrating the completion of 50 years of 1971 victory against Pakistan in a war that tore the nation into two and gave birth to the nation of Bangladesh.
